Building Better Websites, Together

Are you a business owner looking for a new website? You've probably heard of terms like WordPress, Squarespace, or Shopify. And while those platforms can be great, they also have their downsides—like slow load times, security vulnerabilities, and a long list of monthly fees. They can also be impersonal; I don't use templates or pre-made themes. Instead, I use a modern, collaborative process to build websites that are fast, secure, and uniquely yours.

Our Process: An Evolution of the Jamstack Architecture

Our work is inspired by the Jamstack architecture—a modern approach that stands for JavaScript, APIs, and Markup. In plain terms, this means we build fast, secure websites by decoupling the front-end (what your visitors see) from the back-end (the data and functions).

Think of it like building a house. A traditional CMS like WordPress is like a house built on a single, complex foundation. If the foundation has a crack, the whole house is at risk. Our process, however, is more like building a house with a series of sturdy, independent modules. Each module (like your contact form or e-commerce shop) is a separate, secure service that connects to your site. This ensures the foundation remains strong and the house is far more resilient.

Your Vision, Accelerated

Here is a simplified breakdown of our collaborative workflow:

  1. Discovery & Planning: We start by talking. I'll listen to your vision, learn about your business, and understand your audience. Then, we'll work together to plan every page and feature of your website.
  2. Rapid Code & Content Generation: With a solid plan, we move into the build phase. This is where my unique, proprietary system allows us to move at an incredible pace, turning our ideas into a fully functional draft website. New pages, content, and features can be added or adjusted quickly, ensuring we can iterate and refine the design together in real-time.
  3. Integration of Dynamic Features: This is where we plug in the powerful third-party services that add functionality. Whether it's e-commerce, contact forms, or booking calendars, we'll find the tools you need.
  4. Optimization & Deployment: Once the site is complete, we'll focus on fine-tuning. We'll structure your site to be easily discoverable by search engines, giving you a powerful tool to be found by customers. From there, we'll deploy it to a hosting platform.

What Makes This Process Unique?

As a new web developer, I've had the chance to build from scratch, free from the old, clunky methods of the past. Our process is designed for:

A Case Study: Turning a Filing Cabinet into a Recruitment Engine

Every professional needs a website that works as hard as they do. Recently, I had the opportunity to transform a university professor's (my wife, Dr. Kha!) website from a static, text-heavy academic profile into a dynamic, active tool. The original site was static, impersonal, and slow. It listed publications in a plain, unformatted block and lacked any dynamic features to engage prospective students. Below is a comparison of the old site versus the new, modern design.

Before and after screenshots of Dr. Kha's website redesign.

The original university profile was text-heavy and functioned like a digital filing cabinet. The redesigned site features a clean layout, a professional headshot, and engaging interactive tools.

Using our modern workflow, we created a new website that was more than just an aesthetic upgrade—it was a strategic overhaul. The new site loads instantly, looks professional, and now features an interactive tool called the "Student Research Idea Generator." This tool (powered by the Gemini API) allows a prospective student to select an area of expertise and receive a personalized research idea.

The interactive "Student Research Idea Generator" turns passive visitors into active participants, signaling a personal interest that encourages them to take the next step. It's a prime example of how a strategic web presence can turn a static website into a powerful, lead-generating asset.

"The new site has greatly helped my confidence and professional online presence. The student research project idea generator has been an engaging tool for my current and prospective students."
- Dr. Kha, University Professor
